'I am delighted to be joining ACCA at a time when the membership and reputation is growing in Scotland,' said Andrew Leck. 'I look forward to engaging with the Scottish members and students to enhance the services we provide for them and ensure their needs and expectations are reflected in our strategies. It is my role to build on the existing reputation and influence ACCA has in Scotland with members of the wider Scottish economy.'
Welcoming the appointment, Wyn Mears, ACCA UK director, said: 'We are fortunate in being able to attract a professional of such calibre and experience to head our Scottish office. I am confident that Andrew will continue to build our reputation in Scotland and develop existing and new relationships and partnerships on behalf of ACCA.'
A qualified accountant, Andrew also has a degree in accountancy and economics from Strathclyde University. In his spare time he enjoys running, playing golf, and travelling.
