August 2006 sees the launch of the very first example of the new service, covering the financial services sector. ACCA Career Pathways, which is initially being introduced on a pilot basis, draws together both tailored ACCA resources and a wide range of resources provided by external partners including high-quality learning providers, employers, publishers and other professional institutions including the Securities & Investments Institute (SII).
ACCA Career Pathways marks the first collaboration between ACCA and SII following the recent signing of a global partnership agreement between the two bodies. More details are available on another ACCA press release.
Sector relevance
ACCA Career Pathways was developed only after extensive analysis of members, affiliates and students working lives. Some 14,000 members and 19,000 affiliates and students currently work in financial services with a great many more with aspirations to enter the sector.
