Exemptions for degrees and other qualifications
Holders of recognised degrees from universities and colleges, and holders of national professional qualifications in Europe MAY be eligible for exemption from some or all of the nine papers from Parts 1 and 2 of the ACCA Professional Scheme. There are no exemptions from Part 3 papers.
If you hold a degree or professional qualification please visit the global exemption site. You will need to submit copies (and translations) of your degree certificates and course transcripts to obtain any exemptions available. If your qualification is not listed, you may still qualify for exemptions but will need to submit full syllabus details for assessment.
Students are advised to obtain written confirmation of exemption status from ACCA before embarking on any course of study. Actual exemption will be confirmed at the time of a student's initial registration with ACCA. Exemption will be awarded only on the basis of a student's completion certificate and academic transcript.
Applications for assessment of existing qualifications for the purpose of entry to ACCA and possible exemptions must be directed to the Glasgow office, Scotland.
