ACCA has developed a substantial global network of accountancy partnerships which are central both to ACCA’s ability to deliver its qualifications and services internationally, and which also contribute to developing the accountancy profession.

ACCA aims to develop global accountancy partnerships which reflect its values - providing opportunity to people around the world, championing diversity, pursuing the highest standards and based on a commitment to integrity, professionalism and ethics. In particular, ACCA aims to achieve inclusive partnerships which deliver relevant services and support to professional accountants and are based on mutual long-term needs and benefits. The common theme uniting ACCA’s partnerships is a desire to work to consistent international standards and deliver value to accountants around the world.

In recent years, ACCA has increased the range of ways in which it works with partners, including the provision of joint examination schemes, collaboration on CPD, technical research and global quality assurance, and joint promotion of further qualifications.

Mutual recognition agreements have also been concluded with the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) - marking the end of a two-year period of negotiation, following the termination by the Hong Kong body of the previous agreement - and the Singapore Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ICPAS).
